आज गुरु पूर्णिमा के पावन पर्व पर आपको हार्दिक शुभकामनाएँ। आज मैं न केवल उन सभी प्रबुद्ध लोगों, गुरुओं और मुनियों को सादर नमन करता हूँ जिन के स्नेह, अनुग्रह-आशीष की वजह से मेरा जीवन है, मेरी सद‌भावना, सद‌विचारणा और मेरी सत्प्रवृत्तियां हैं बल्कि उन सभी लोगों को भी बारम्बार नमन करता हूँ जिन्होंने मेरे देवतुल्य गुरुजनों को कभी भी प्रोत्साहित किया, उनकी सोच और उनके विचार को प्रेरित या पोषित किया तथा उनकी अंतर्निहित क्षमताओं को जागृत किया।

आज का ये विशेष दिन केवल अपने गुरु की पूजा-अर्चना का दिन नहीं है। यह “अपना दीया खुद बनने” का दिन है। यह आत्म-चिंतन और आत्म-सुधार का भी दिन भी है।

याद रखें कि आपके और मेरे जीवन के सदुपयोग की सर्वोत्तम नीति है, आत्मोन्नति का प्रयास। और आत्मोन्नति होती है आध्यात्मिक जीवन जीने से। याद रखिये की अज्ञान निवृत्ति, आत्म-जागरण एवं इहलौकिक – पारलौकिक अनुकूलताओं का सृजन केवल आध्यात्मिक जीवनशैली द्वारा ही सम्भव है।

और अपने अंतःकरण को आध्यात्मिक केवल और केवल अपने शुभ कर्म और शुभ विचारों द्वारा ही बनाया जा सकता है। नाम के लिये केवल धर्म के आवरण को ओढ़ने से या झूठे मन से राम राम करने से काम नही चलेगा, अपने आप को सुविकसित, समुन्नत एवं सुसंस्कृत बनाने से ही असली फायदा होगा।

आत्मोन्नति यानी के आध्यात्मिक प्रगति के लिए अनेक लोग देर तक पूजा पाठ करते रहते हैं उनका विश्वास होता है अमुक कर्मकाण्ड या विधान को अमुक समय तक अपनाये रहने पर अमुक प्रकार की सफलता मिल जायगी। पर उन्हें यह याद नहीं रहता कि इसके साथ ही एक भारी शर्त लगी हुई है – अन्तःकरण की शुद्धता और अनुकूलता। यदि यह शर्त पूरी न हुई तो कोई भी पूजा पथ अभीष्ट प्रतिफल उत्पन्न नही कर सकेगा।

गुरु पूर्णिमा कोई छोटी-मोटी पूजा करने का दिन नही है। ये अपना दिया खुद बनना है। अपने भीतर इस दिये कि रोशनी को नित्य बढ़ाने का प्रयास, इस रोशनी में सनातन सत्यों का दर्शन करना और प्रतिपल अज्ञान, अहंकार और पाखंड से मुक्ति पाने का प्रयास करना तथा अपने अंतःकरण को आध्यात्मिक बनाने एवं आत्मोन्नति के लिए प्रयत्नशील रहना ही सच्ची प्रार्थना है।

आप के अंत:करण की पवित्रता में, सत्प्रवृत्तियों में, चित्त की शुद्धता-निर्मलता और नित्य शुभकर्म करने के प्रयासों में निरंतर वृद्धि हो तथा आपके सभी महती लक्ष्य तेजी से पूर्ण हों इन्ही सब मनोकामनाओं के साथ साथ आज मेरे आराध्य प्रभु जी से ये भी प्रार्थना है कि यह पावन दिन आपके गुरुओं की ओर से अधिक से अधिक आशीर्वाद, ज्ञान और मार्गदर्शन लेकर आए तथा आप अपने पथ पर सतत प्रकाश और प्रेरणा पाते रहें।
