Empathy is not a behavior; it’s an inner ability, a skill!

Today I wish you to know that the word “Empathy” is a fundamental part of building meaningful social connections & the foundation for all genuine relationships. It is the most essential quality for fostering a world where diversity is celebrated & unity prevails.

Empathy is the starting point for creating a community & taking action. It’s the impetus for creating change. Sweetheart, even though empathy is the biggest sign of being humane, yet it is one of the most overlooked elements of our daily lives these days.

Sweetheart, empathy is a word used to describe a wide range of experiences. For the purposes of this thought, I am defining empathy as the ability to understand other people’s emotions, values & behaviors.

I am not saying that you have to agree with other’s emotions, values & behaviors…, all I am saying is – just suspend your own judgment to see the world from their perspective. Sweetheart, tell me one thing – when whole lot of world can listen & understand their pets & plants, why can’t you understand what other people feel, see things from their point of view & imagine yourself in their place. What’s the problem?

Darling listen – that’s why, for me, empathy is not a behavior; it’s an inner ability, a skill. Most people can develop it. But, for some people, developing it or learning anything is a big challenge 🤭.

But, you can very well develope this ability. It is said that most people become who they practice to be… so when you practice gratitude, caring, listening & understanding others without your assumptions & judgement you not only become emphatic but also a better human being… An asset, a blessing for your world…
