पशुवृत्ति, बुरी आदतें, ईर्ष्या, द्वेष और जलन, लोभ-लालच, झूठ बोलना, क्रोध करना और अहंकार किस में नही है। हम सभी मे कुछ न कुछ सही-गलत है।

असल मे तो इस पृथ्वी पर बहुत थोड़े से ही मनुष्य हुए हैं जो इन विकारों को पूरी तरह त्याग पाये हैं या अपनी नर्संगिक पशुता के पार गए हैं। जिन महात्माओं और बुद्धों ने स्वयं को जाना है, स्वंय को भीतर से देखा है बस वे ही केवल अपने पाशविक स्वभाव और मूर्खता के पार गए हैं। हम जैसे बाकी लोगों के लिये तो इतना ही काफी है कि हम अपने भीतर की वास्तविकता को पहचान लें और उसे स्वीकार करलें, क्योंकि अपने गुणों और अवगुणों से परिचित हो कर ही हमारा रूपांतरण हो सकता है, कुछ बदल सकता है।

प्राय: दूसरों का विश्लेषण करना और उन्हें उनके किये हुए बर्ताव, व्यक्तित्व और कार्यों के अनुसार वर्गीकृत करना बहुत सरल होता है। लेकिन सच्ची ईमानदारी के साथ उसी विश्लेषण के प्रकाश में स्वयं को देखना बहुत कठिन है। इसीलिये स्वयं का अवलोकन कड़ाई से करते हुए अपने दोषों, अवगुणों और विकारों का दमन करना ही हमारी सच्ची प्रार्थना है और यही आत्म सुधार का सबसे बढ़िया मार्ग है। जो न् सिर्फ प्रसन्नता और आनंद की मंजिल तक पहुँचने का साधन है, बल्कि अपने अन्तःकरण में परमात्मा का अनुभव करने का भी सर्वोत्तम उपाय है।

बुद्धपुरुष केवल इतना ही कहते हैं आगर आपने अपनी आत्मा को पहचान लिया तो परमात्मा को पहचान लिया। स्व को जान लिया तो सब को जान लिया। स्वंय के जान लेने से ही सब कुछ जान लिया जाता है। जिसने सब जान लिया और स्वयं को न जाना, उसका कुछ भी जानने का क्या उपयोग? और जिसने कुछ भी न जाना और स्वयं को जान लिया, उसने सब जान लिया। क्योंकि अंततः जीवन में जो भी असल मे प्राप्त होगा, वह केवल स्वयं को सही से जानने और उसके रूपान्तरण से घटित होगा।

इसलिए स्वयं का जानना, मानना और उसका निरन्तर विश्लेषण करना तथा स्वयं को अपने बीते कल से बेहतर बनाना ही सबसे सही मार्ग हैं..मृत्यु के भी पार जाने वाला अमृत सूत्र है।

आज मेरे आराध्य प्रभु जी से प्रार्थना है कि आपके भीतर का दीया जल्द ही जल उठे और उसका प्रकाश आपको अपनी वास्तविक दशा का बोध निरन्तर कराता रहे तथा आपके आत्म- जागरण/संवरण के सभी प्रयास तेजी से सफल हों।

Sweetheart, we are so easily led to look at life as a whole & to neglect the little to-day, to forget that the single days do indeed make up the whole. One day lost is a link broken in the chain, which it often takes more than another day to mend. One day lost influences the next & makes it making more difficult…

Yea, one day lost may be the loss of what months or years of careful labour had secured. The experience of many great people will confirm this.

Darling listen – as the light opens on your waking eyes, accept it on these terms: A day, just one day only, but still a day, given to do whatever you can or want. Whether it be a day of health or sickness, joy or sorrow, rest or work, of struggle or victory, let the chief thought with which you receive the day in the morning be this: “A day that my God has given; in it I must look beyond stigmas, fears, confusions, uncertainties, insufficiency & inabilities, defend life & dignity, use it to become much better, wiser, stronger, healthier, peaceful, happier, confident & more effective than yesterday, use it to go all out & do something great, important & incredible, spend time with loved ones & finally use it to pray in gratitude for all that has been given to me.

I wish & hope that you begin to live today as if this day is all there is. Because it is. Let you accept, enjoy & fulfil with your whole heart the part you have this day to perform.
