कबीर के भजनों के मशहूर गायक प्रहलाद सिंह टिपानिया जी का एक सुंदर भजन है जिसमे वे गाते हैं कि एक राम दशरथ का बेटा, एक राम घट घट मे बैठा। एक राम का सकल पसारा, एक राम इन सबसे न्यारा।।

मैं उन्हें तथा शबनम विरमानी को बहुत सुनता हूँ और पसन्द भी करता हूँ। लेकिन जितना मैं पढ़ता हूँ, सुनता हूँ और समझता हूँ उससे मुझे केवल एक बात लगती है कि वे कोई चार राम नही हैं। वे तो वही राम हैं जो घट-घट में बोल रहे हैं, वही तो दशरथ के घर थे, उन्ही राम का तो सकल पसारा है और मेरे अनुसार वही राम है जो सबसे न्यारे हैं। जैसे सबको अपने अपने अनुसार वही आकाश दिख रहा है जो अथाह है – अनन्त है, वैसे ही प्रभु का भी है।

परमात्मा आपको सदा सदा से आकाश की तरह उपलब्ध हैं। आप जहां भी हो, जैसे भी हो – वे आपके साथ हैं। बस सचेत रहो, खुले रहो और जागते रहो। मुझे लगता है ये हमारे जीवन का महत्वपूर्ण दृष्टिकोण है।

रोम-रोम में रमने वाला परमात्मतत्व यानी के चैतन्यतत्त्व का नाम ही राम है। मैं अपने लेख में अक्सर इसी परमात्मा की बात करता हूँ जो मुझ में और आप सब मे आत्माराम के रूप में विराजते हैं।

इसीलिये हम साधारण इंसानो को न तो बहुत दूर के, गहरे प्रश्नों की फिक्र करनी है और न ही उन्हें पूछना है। हमे पिछले जन्म, आने वाले जन्म, स्वर्ग-नर्क या इस तरह की अन्य बातों में घुसने की जरूरत नही है। जो सबसे बड़ी जरूरत है वो है स्वयं के प्रति सचेत होने की। जरूरत है स्वयं को जगाने की। दूर देखने से पहले, जरूरत है अपने भीतर में या निकट देखने की। भविष्य की सोचने की बजाये जरूरत है वर्तमान क्षण के प्रति सचेत रहने की, क्योंकि ये वर्तमान क्षण ही है जो अपने में भविष्य और अतीत के सब उत्तर लिए रहता है।

इसीलिये मेरा मानना है कि स्वयं के प्रति सचेत रहना, अपने आत्म जागरण, आत्म संवरण तथा अपने आत्मविकास की परम संभावना के प्रति सजग रहना और सतत प्रयत्नशील रहना ही हमारी सर्वोत्तम प्रार्थना है। प्रबुद्ध तथा अप्रमत्त भाव मे रहना प्रार्थना है। अपने सोच-विचार, आचरण, कार्यों और व्यवहार के प्रति सावधान रहना ही प्रार्थना है। हमारे लिये पूजा पाठ का तात्पर्य केवल प्रभु श्री राम का नाम जपने या ईश्वर भक्ति से ही नहीं है अपितु उन मूल्यों के प्रति आदर-आचरण से भी है, जिनके हमारे प्रभु प्रतीक हैं। वे शिष्टाचार और सदाचार के प्रतीक हैं। वे स्नेहशीलता, सहनशीलता, उदारता और धर्य के प्रतीक हैं। उन्हें जो-जो प्रिय हैं, प्रेम, सत्य, शील, मर्यादा, सदाचार, संयम, सदाशयता आदि जैसे उनके सभी 16 गुणों को अपने दैनिक व्यवहार और आचरण में शामिल कर लेना प्रार्थना है।

आप अपने वचनों, प्रतिवचनों, कार्यों और प्रतिक्रियाओं के प्रति, अपनी वाणी और अपने व्यवहार के प्रति, बाहर की बजाय अपने भीतर के प्रति अत्यधिक सजग-सचेत हो जायें जिससे आपकी पूर्णता-श्रेष्ठता हासिल करने की यात्रा सरस, सुंदर तथा सुखमय हो जाये, ऐसी मेरे आराध्य प्रभु से आज मेरी प्रार्थना है।

Today I wish to remind you that an awakened Soul can never be misled by the illusions & cannot be influenced by what happens & what goes around.

You live in a world which is a playground of stubborn, prideful, overconfident people who are mostly driven by their egos, greed, meanness or opportunism. Please stop yourself from being misled by the words, thoughts & deeds of such iniquitous people or setups trying to lead you down to garden paths.

Darling listen – you are not a part of their nasty or miserable world. You are an awakened & enlightened soul. You have the ability to think, speak, act & react responsibly. Please continue emitting your intelligent energy of love & a light that only unites & expands.

Sweetheart, an Awakened Soul knows very well that true rewards – affluence, knowledge, love, fitness, calmness, composure & spiritual attainment – comes only by improving itself little by little, from moment to moment as a smith removes the dross of silver or gold.

The beauty of life is, while we can’t undo a single thing we have ever done, we surely can do things in a different manner, react differently, make better decisions today that can propel us to the life we want & towards the success, happiness, well-being & fulfillment we want or deserve.

Sweetheart, it would be incredibly painful to get to the end of your life realising you didn’t live it to the full, that you wasted time doing useless things that didn’t serve your prime interests & objectives. I am sure, you do not want to be left with the feeling that you wasted your life or you didn’t chase lions or you didn’t say what you should have said or that you didn’t do things that you could have done.

While I know that for some of us, finding the right direction or path is a real tough task & might take a lifetime to discover what we’re actually meant to do in life, I do believe that there is only one direction in which we are all meant to go: FORWARD.

Instead of asking every Tom, Dick & Harry what you should do & in which direction you should go, please begin to follow your INNER VOICE.

Believe me your Inner Voice works at a deeper Proactive level. I wish to remind you that most of us function at very superficial levels in general & are merely reactive in life instead of being proactive & living authentically & fully.

I know your inner voice may also prove wrong sometimes, but believe me it will get better eventually because you will be out there doing something, learning & improving yourself everyday – not merely sitting, waiting & expecting…

Darling listen – by taking small steps each & every day, putting aside overthinking & realizing that you have everything you need deep within, you can find the right direction in your life.

Sweetheart, if you ever needed something to push you into the right direction, this is it. I hope that the message is loud & clear: your reactive mode & inaction will only keep you confused, anxious & rooted in the place you are in now.

To move forward in the right direction, start following your guts & begin to live proactively in the present moment by trying, moving, engaging, experimenting & walking forward.

Today I wish to remind you a popular phrase – “all looks yellow to the jaundiced eye” which actually means that everything appears altered since everything you see comes through your own eyes. When I say that someone see things as yellowish or biased, I only mean that the bias is with the viewer, not with the world.

Because the yellowing occurs in the eyes, we can imagine that things look yellowish to someone with jaundice. I don’t think that this is actually the case in reality. It’s more of a metaphor.

I am not accusing for your intentionally refusal to see & inability to understand the reality. I am talking about the altered vision or bias that you may not even be aware of.

Whether you have JAUNDICED EYE (habitually) or if you love to wear your cute ROSE TINTED GLASSES mostly, all I want from you is to switch lenses frequently & check out the unfiltered view. Always remember – a dual perspective helps you to see things both as they are in real & as they could be.

While I know the importance of seeing your life & world through your rose-tinted glasses (positive & optimistic viewpoint), but a fluffy woo-woo view must not become an excuse to look the other way when something needs a different focus. Obviously it can become occasionally dangerous.

It is rightly said that assumptions are dangerous things to make & like all dangerous things to make — bombs, for instance – if you make even the tiniest mistake you can find yourself in terrible trouble.

Darling listen – if someone shows you an orange, please see it as “an orange”. Don’t try to see it differently 🤣.

I hope you would have understood my core message – it is basically … our thoughts, concepts, assumptions, beliefs, conditioning etc & sometimes our past experiences act as colored lenses and/or blinders that distort what is seen. We don’t see things as they are. Today I wish you to learn to see what-is as it really is, instead of what you think you see & not what-is.

Sweetheart, I must tell you that only when you see things as they are instead of as you would like, you can make better decisions for your own happiness & for the happiness of others.

हम सब हर रोज किसी न किसी रूप में परमात्मा की स्तुति तो करते हैं लेकिन हम इस बात का खयाल नही रख पाते हैं कि ईश्वर श्रेष्ठता, शूभता, उच्चता एवं महानता का ही एक रूप है। जिस भी आयाम में ये जहां भी ये प्रकट होते हैं वहां ईश्वर की झलक निकटतम हो जाती है, उनकी अनुभूति आसान हो जाती है।

ईश्वर तो सब जगह मौजूद ही हैं, उस पत्थर में भी जो रास्ते के किनारे पड़ा है। लेकिन वही पत्थर जब एक सुंदर मूर्ति बन जाता है, तब उनकी अनुभूति होना आसान हो जाता है। ये बात सिर्फ समझने के लिये है।

श्रेष्ठता, उच्चता, महानता का अर्थ है, उनकी अभिव्यक्ति, उनका एक्सप्रेशन, किसी भी दिशा में और किसी भी आयाम में जो परम उत्कर्ष है, जिसके पार नहीं जाया जा सकता है – बस वही आखिरी सीमा उनकी मौजूदगी है, अभिव्यक्ति है – यंही अधिकतम ईश्वर प्रकट होता है या हो सकता है। । चाहे वह सौंदर्य हो, चाहे वह सत्य हो, ईमानदारी हो, सामर्थ्य हो या किसी के पराक्रम की पराकाष्ठा, चाहे कोई भी हो आयाम, जहां भी जीवन अपनी अत्यंत आत्यंतिक स्थिति को छू लेता है, अपने परम शिखर को पहुंच जाता है, बस वो कैलाश पहुंच जाता है – गौरीशंकर को छू लेता है, उन्हें प्राप्त हो जाता है।

श्रेष्ठता बहुत से रूपों में प्रकट होती है। अगर ठीक से समझें, तो श्रेष्ठा के सभी रूप परमात्मा के रूप ही हैं। और जहां भी श्रेष्ठतर दिखाई पड़े, वहां परमात्मा दिख जाता है। चाहे कोई एक संगीतज्ञ अपने संगीत की ऊंचाई को छूता हो और चाहे कोई एक चित्रकार अपनी कला की अंतिम सीमा को स्पर्श करता हो, चाहे कोई बुद्ध अपने मौन में डूबता हो – चाहे कोई भी हो दिशा हो, जहां भी महानता है, जहां भी जीवन उच्चता को छूता है, वहीं परमात्मा अपनी सघनता में प्रकट होता है

मैं फिर कहता हूं कि जहां भी कोई चीज श्रेष्ठता को छूती है, सर्वोत्तमता, महत्तमता और उत्कृष्टता को छूती है, वहीं उनकी झलक मिलनी शुरू हो जाती है। इसीलिये जहां भी श्रेष्ठता या महानता की कोई थोड़ी सी भी झलक मिले तो उसे प्रणाम करना, उसे स्वीकार करना ही एक मायने में हमारी प्रार्थना है।

लेकिन साधरणतः कुछ लोगों के लिये किसी की श्रेष्ठता को स्वीकार करना बड़ा कठिन है। कोई श्रेष्ठ है, इसे स्वीकार करने में बड़ी तकलीफ है। कोई निकृष्ट है, इसे स्वीकार करने में बड़ी राहत है। अगर कोई आदमी आपसे आकर कहे कि फलां आदमी बेईमान है, चोर है, बेकार है तो हम बड़ी प्रफुल्लता से स्वीकार कर लेते हैं। कोई आकर कहे कि फलां आदमी साधु है, सज्जन है, संत है, या सही है तो आपके भीतर स्वीकार का भाव बिलकुल नहीं उठता। आप कहते हैं कि तुम्हें पता नहीं होगा अभी, पीछे के दरवाजों से भी पता लगाओ कि वह आदमी सच मे साधु है क्या?

जब हमें पता चलता है कि दुनिया में बहुत बेईमानी हो रही है, चोरी हो रही है, धोखा दिया जा रहा हैं, तो हमारी छाती फूल जाती है। तब हमें लगता है, कोई हर्ज नहीं, कोई मैं ही बुरा नहीं हूं सारी दुनिया बुरी है। और इतने बुरे लोगों से तो मैं फिर भी बेहतर हूं। अगर आप गौर से देखेंगे तो पायेंगे कि जब भी हमें कोई बुरा दिखाई पड़ता है, हम बड़े हो जाते हैं। जब भी हमें कोई भला दिखाई पड़ता है, हम छोटे हो जाते हैं।

याद रखिये की जो अपने से बड़े को देखने में असमर्थ है, वह परमात्मा को समझने में भी असमर्थ है। इसलिए जहां भी कुछ बड़ा दिखाई पड़ता हो, श्रेष्ठ दिखाई पड़ता हो, कोई फूल जो दूर आकाश में खिलता है बहुत कठिनाई से, जब दिखाई पड़ता हो, तो अपने इस मन की बीमारी से सावधान रहना। श्रेष्ठता को स्वीकार करने से उसे नमन करने से ही आगे की गति सम्भव हो सकती है। परमात्मा की सर्वव्यापकता, अनंतता, अमरता का अनुभव तभी संभव है …जब आप स्वयं श्रेस्ठ होकर जियें, आपकी नियत, सोच, आपके विचार और आपके कर्म एकदम अच्छे और शुभ हो जायें और आप स्वभाविक रूप से दूसरों की श्रेष्ठता को नमन करने लगें।

मैं आज मेरे आराध्य प्रभु जी से प्रार्थना करता हूँ कि आपके मन-बुद्धि शुद्ध एवं पवित्र हो जायें, आपके सोच-विचार और कर्म की दिशा बदल जाये जिससे आपके संचित पुण्य बढ़ सकें औऱ आपके भाग्य की रेखाएं बदल सकें। आप इतने संवेदनशील एवं विनम्र हों जायें कि सभी की उच्चता को स्वीकार कर सकें। आपके सुप्त पड़े हुऐ गुण एवं आपकी अपनी सोई हुई श्रेष्ठता, दिव्यता, उच्चता जागृत हो जाये जिससे आपकी भौतिक तथा आध्यात्मिक उन्नति की राह जल्द ही प्रशस्त हो सके।

Today I wish you to know that your smile, joy, peace, prosperity, reputation, energy, health & your family are your basic essentials & too precious; not to be lost or treated carelessly.

Darling listen – you have a responsibility to protect these essentials. Your physical, mental, emotional & spiritual self, your heart, mind, soul, spirit, environment & your family – all are essentials. If you lose any of it, you begin to lose all of them slowly-slowly & one after one. Protect them at any cost.

Of course you know all this, but as you know – sometimes we all need a reminder, right 🤭?

Protecting your essentials is a personal journey, where list is yours & you only make the decisions & set boundaries for yourself in order to create a safe & better space internally & externally where you can live a productive & happy life. After all that’s the only objective of life.

All I can say is – it takes practice to protect these essentials on a regular basis, but the more you do it, the better you get at it. Start practicing it from today!

Sweetheart, don’t put your life & it’s protection in any one’s hands. No one is going to do it for you. You have to learn how to have your own back. Start showing up & standing up for yourself & your world every single minute of every day. You & solely you are responsible for the protection of your essentials, direction your life goes in & the statement you choose to make with it.
